The time has come to close the Chester, Inc. Popcorn Store - both our physical store and our virtual web store. Supplier issues, inventory problems and other factors have necessitated this decision.
Since the late 1970s, we had been able to supply our customers with 5 pound bags of Orville's popcorn, but ConAgra stopped packaging the Orville Redenbacher brand in 5# bags. That has been a huge blow to our operation.
All other Chester divisions are operating as usual and plan to continue doing so. Chester, Inc. celebrated 60 years in business last year and fully intends to be around at least 60 more.
